We caught a couple of minutes for a short interview with Esa Williams, only moments before his departure. The wrap-up of what was mutually considered a weekend full of heartfelt conversations and new friendships.

During the weekend of Atlas Electronic 2017, Esa appeared on the timetable not once but three times. One of which was the legendary Ata Kak band’s very first time to ever perform on African soil. A memorable, personal and special moment for Esa himself, Ata Kak and the organisation.

Esa Williams – South African DJ and producer – a name to remember. If it’s not for his ability to pour his heart out in his performances, let it be his unblemished taste for good music of any kind. For this Worldwide FM resident is indiscriminative to the magnitude of an artist. Rather his ear befalls on those who deserve it. A diverse DJ, skilled producer, but most importantly a genuine and kind human being.

The In dialogue series is a video series in which we invite the viewer to take part in the conversation. By opening the conversation with artists about their experiences, opinions, ways of working and more, we aim at strengthening the bond between our viewers, listeners, readers and artists.
